据国家数据局2025年8月14日介绍，“十四五”以来，我国数据产业规模快速增长。

数据产业是利用数据技术，对数据资源进行产品和服务开发过程中所形成的产业形态，是促进数据要素市场化价值化的新兴产业。这个产业的经营主体主要包括从事数据技术创新、资源开发利用、数据技术赋能应用的企业，同时也包括从事数据产品和服务流通交易的企业，以及数据基础设施建设的企业。培育数据产业是数据要素市场化配置改革的一项重要内容，也是培育数字经济、发展新质生产力的一个重要环节。当前，我国数据产业处于快速发展阶段，市场空间大，已成为数字经济发展的新增长点。

“十四五”以来，我国数据产业规模快速增长。据国家数据发展研究院研究，2024年，全国数据企业数量超过40万家，数据产业规模达5.86万亿元，较“十三五”末增长117%；截至2024年底，我国软件收入规模较2020年增长80%，规模以上电子信息制造业增加值增长超70%。
